Searching For JamTracks By Artist Or Song Name

Last Updated: Sep 13, 2015 09:37PM CDT
The JamTracks catalog is pretty huge, so you’ll need some search tools to find what you are looking for. If you are looking for something specific, you can search JamTracks by the artist name or song name. Here’s how:

Launch the JamKazam App
Find the JamKazam app icon (pictured below) on your computer desktop, and use it to start up the app.

Click the JamTracks Tile
When you launch the JamKazam app, you might see the Getting Started dialog box (pictured below).

If you see this, then click the CLOSE button at the bottom of this dialog box to close it. You should now see the home screen of the app (pictured below).

Click the big orange tile labeled JamTracks. You should now see the JamTracks screen (pictured below).

Type the Artist or Song Name in the Search Box
On the left side of this screen, find the text header “Search JamTracks”. In the first text box under this header, start typing the name of the band or artist (e.g. Elton John) or the name of the song (e.g. Rocket Man) you are looking for. As you type, a short list of matches will be displayed (pictured below).

If you see what you are looking for, simply click on your selection in the list, and the search will use the selected option. If you don’t see what you are looking for, then press the Enter button on your keyboard instead, and the search will use the text you have entered. Your search results will then be presented (pictured below).

Search Again If Needed
If you want to run a new search, you can stay on the screen pictured above, and simply start typing your new search in the Search Again box at the top of the screen.

Or if you want to return to the JamTracks home screen, you can click the yellow text link “back to jamtracks home” at the top right of the search results listing.
